Foxgang

Foxgang are an international 4-piece based in Edinburgh/Glasgow. The band has its roots across the Baltic in Krakow, Poland, where Foxgang formed and spent 2 years gigging and attracting media attention from national press and radio. Foxgang’s music is ravaged, cosmic rock ‘n’ roll, characterised by frontman Ryan Denton’s deft lyrics and soulful vocals. Despite building club wrecking following, in autumn 2007 it was most definitely time to take the Brit- words and sounds to the UK and seek a more relevant exposure.

Since arriving in Scotland Foxgang has received airplay from Jim Gellatly on XFM, bbc 5, 6 , BBC special Podcasts, packed out Edinburgh’s HMV picture house and London’s Dublin Castle. Look out for shows in Glasgow’s Subway Festival and Alan McGee’s Death Disco in London as Foxgang continue to blow audiences away with their stunning live performances. Foxgang’s white trainers only touch the stage half the time.Last summer FG joined Bjork, Optimo Punch and the Apostles, Broken Records, The Aliens and more on the spanking new label ‘Tentracks’ associated with Fence Records, Fat Cat and other beef. The FG are currently working on their Debut album for Tentracks/ Shore Sounds and launch in this summer’s Edinburgh Festival.
